Are you prepared?

Last evening the young men in our ward put on an emergency preparedness BBQ. They had several tables of various mini classes and information on how to be prepared in an emergency situation. I was asked to do a table on Child Safety. In doing a little research for this I came across these disturbing statistics:

A child goes missing every 40 seconds in our country! Thats 2,100 children gone from their families EVERY DAY!!!!!!

In excess of 800,000 children are reported missing every year in our country.

500,000 children go missing WITHOUT even being reported.

Are we prepared if something like this happens to us?
